Schools
Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation, constructed 16 primary and secondary schools and 8 high schools in 13 provinces between 2000-2024 and donated to the Ministry of Education. After the conversion of a high school into a secondary school in 2016, the number of high schools became 8 and together with 17 primary and secondary schools, every year over 20.000 students have access to education.
Dormitories
Despite the improvements made in access to basic education in Turkey, gender disparity at the secondary level remains a challenge. Expanding dormitory facilities for girls at the secondary school level has been the Foundation’s strategy to combat prevailing cultural and economic biases that prevent girls from continuing their schooling beyond the primary level.
University
The Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation crowned its investments in education with Özyeğin University, which was established in 2008.
