OUR STORY

Founded in 1990, the Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to improving the lives of individuals by contributing to the social and economic development of Turkey with projects in the fields of education, health and culture.

Since its inception, the foundation has focused on offering scholarship assistance to academically gifted students who demonstrate financial hardship. To date, nearly 24,000 students have benefited from these scholarships. With the construction of schools and secondary school girls’ dormitories in the field of education, rehabilitation centers in the field of health, restoration works for the protection of cultural heritage and a total of 65 donation investments, the Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation continues to stand by the past and the future. To date, 23 girls’ dormitories, 1 university dormitory, 21 primary schools, 8 high schools and 4 rehabilitation centers have been built and donated. Approximately 24,000 students benefit from the schools and dormitories every year.

The Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation continues to support the development of nearly 4,000 young girls with special life skills training programs, scholarship support and various projects for young girls living in girls’ dormitories.

Child Wellness Center The Children's Well-being Center, supported by the Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation, is designed to offer comprehensive care and rehabilitation services to children who experienced limb loss during the 2023 Maraş Earthquake. This initiative aims to establish a leading pediatric orthopedic rehabilitation center at Çukurova University.

We are Strengthening Together Project The foundation has been actively running the "Strengthening Together" Project for 4 years to meet the competence and psychosocial needs of young women residing in Hüsnü M. Solution Community
Founded in 2021 by İpek Kıraç, Suna'nın Kızları (Suna's Daughters) aims to contribute to the creation of supportive and safe learning spaces for children. It works together with 33 non-governmental organizations within the framework of common goals and indicators, taking into account the unique needs of girls; and supports programs that facilitate access to existing services and empower all children.
