Özyeğin University is a non-profit university founded by the Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation on May 18, 2007 and welcomed its first students in September 2008 at its Istanbul Altunizade Campus.

Özyeğin University is established with the objective of serving society as an innovative, creative and entrepreneurial education center, integrated with modern life.

The vision of Özyeğin University will be realized through graduates who will be the most sought-after individuals in society: life-long learners who have vision, ethics, individual responsibility and principles. They will be results-oriented, with theoretical knowledge as well as practical experience and highly-developed work skills.

Özyeğin University strives to be financially accessible to all students both national and international. A financial assistance model integrating scholarships, waivers and loans designed to improve accessibility is implemented by the University in partnership with other institutions.

Özyeğin University engages in the generation and implementation of creative, original, useful and applicable knowledge relevant not only within the environment of Turkey but also on a regional and international scale.

The strive for social improvement is a driving force for the university and to this end students, professors, researchers, graduates and the institutions with which we cooperate are challenged to meet the different needs in society for the overall wellbeing of individuals.
